Summer is coming!

Guillermo is trying on his new life vest for his summer water debut! Seems to like it..has that smug face on. He has also just cut his second bottom tooth, and the doctor said that the top two are on their way soon! We had his 6 month appointment on Thursday. He weighs 20 lbs, 4 oz and is now 27 1/4 inches tall. In other news, we recently took him to the eye doctor after the doctor found that his left pupil was bigger than his right. The eye doctor seems to think this is fine as long as there are no big changes. The pupil is always a bit bigger and his eye droops a bit (we think he got the droopy eye from his mom though, and that it's just the way his eye will always be rather than an "issue"). Anyway, if you look back at photos, you can see the pupil...we never noticed until the pediatrician saw it!

I never noticed it either. He's handsome enough, anyway.

I noticed it, but only maybe once or twice, when I though he was doing a Clint Eastwood impression.
Actually, I just looked at several of his pictures and it is not noticeable. It's good news though and I am glad your doctor notice it and had you check it out. Good doctor, he is a keeper. Love you Mom

I can't wait to see pictures of him "swimming". Are you taking him to the Y or just in the back yard? Love, Grandma Norma

It is called anisocoria, and there is lots of information available on line, which of course can scare the pants of you. More importantly is the fact that it is a normal variant in up to 20% of the population.

All about Guillermo and Alma. Our little people.
