Five months and rice!

Happy 5 months, Guillermo! And here's to eating rice!

Well I don't see it slipping out of his mouth, as first time eaters tend to let happen. Tell me did he like it - or was it just kind of no taste, but OK. You will probably notice the difference in a couple of days when it actually fills him up and he won't drink so much. Don't let that scare you - he's getting enough to keep him full for three maybe even four hours. Grandma Norma

I opened up the 5-month stuffed animal picture side by side with the 15-day old one - wow, I can't believe how much he's grown!

How does he like the rice cereal two days after his first bite? It looks as though he knows how to grasp that spoon. What a bright little boy. Love, Norma

Okay, if I am not mistaken, Guillermo went to the doctors last week - what are the vital stats now. How tall is he, how fast is he growing - when will he be reading, writing? Love you, Grandman Norma

He had a low grade fever so we had to put off the vaccinations till this week. Now the appt is scheduled for Thursday, so we'll keep you posted. For now, he is a sick boy...he has a yucky cough and runny nose, etc. Pobrecito!

All about Guillermo and Alma. Our little people.
