Tongue

Looks like Guillermo might have the whole "I stick my tongue out when I concentrate" thing going on. Seems to be a family thing. I think Uncle John and Cousin Rachel both do or did this! OH, and yes, that is drool on his forehead in the big pic...this was after the keys session. I have a feeling he might be thinking about teething. He is chomping down on everything including fingers (anyone's will do), toys (even plush toys), and tonight he tried to eat dad's glasses after pulling them off.

Yep! Rachel, Uncle John and even Grandma Norma! I am sorry, it is a family trait - you should see Rachel running down the soccer field with her tongue sticking out the side of her mouth. One of her old coaches used to tease her about it and still does when he sees her at any of the games. Grandma N

No apologies necessary. I think it's cute! I'm sure Guillermo will be happy to share traits with cool cousin Rachel!

He probably just realized that when he sticks his tongue out, there's one more thing he can chomp on!

And what about Cool Uncle John???

We keep hoping that Guillerma will turn out like cool Uncle John, minus the herringbone sport coats with the sleeves rolled up.

What about my awesome mullet? Or the Binkley pompadour?

Anyway, I used to stick my tongue out so much that my upper lip would get chapped under my nose. Mostly I did it when I read or worked on homework. I think I stopped around the end of elementary school - at least, I don't think my lip got chapped after that.

P.S. I thought I might still have that sportcoat, but I'm pretty sure I gave it away to Goodwill a couple of years ago.

Some lucky dude may be wearing it right now!

I think Graham is probably going to get your hair.

Also, I might have been an 80s fashion victim (Actually, no. Even then I was really just parodying 80s fashion), but just who is this grunge fool?

OH haha....see...I'm the perfect age to look back fondly on one style and not fondly on the other...Melissa..you're probably too young to appreciate either! What a catch was my husband? So awesome!

From their Mother - I remember the sport coat, the pink paisley shirt and the black skinny tie, the high top sneakers that were hand painted and the black cut off sweat pants. I also remember your Dad's pea coat, the pork pie hat Bill returned with from San Francisco one trip, and that I tried to buy you some shirts that were not grey, black or brown that sat unused for many months. Yea Eddie Veder! What style you both had. When John grew his hair long, it became curly and Bill's hair was so much thicker and nicer than mine. Love you. Mom

Actually when I saw Bill's picture I was thinking to myself that you (Amy)would still think he was so cute with his grunge and all! I'll have to show Jr. He'll get a kick out of it. He is so far removed from the grunge scene.

Yep...I still love that look! We all know about my previous years of stalking Seattle Eddie Vedder haunts! Teehee.

All about Guillermo and Alma. Our little people.
