1 year Well Child Exam

Guillermo had his 1 year exam a month late.

Stats are:

Weight: 26 lbs, 14 oz (93%)
Height: 32.5 in (99%)

There are some new words now too (yeah!). He is saying "cup" and "book" (well, he says "ook" but you get the drift). His new favorite activities include 'driving' his little truck around, dancing, being read to and giving 'gentle' pets to the cats.

We are hunkering down for winter, and I'm trying to think of some fun indoor activities since it's 20 degrees outside and the highs right now are only 39 or so.

Looking forward to another joy with the little guy.

don't forget to mention the tantrums have begun, but he mostly smiles and laughs a lot.

I still can't get over Salsa weighing as much as a 1 year old! I wish I had some cool locked in for the whole day types of games. I can't even handle Seattle winters.Brrr.

Oh my god! Elias didn't weigh that much 'til he was 2 and a half.

And talking already, what a little smarty!

Fantastic stats - talking and growing up (tantrums are part of it). With those tantrums, he is finding out how far he can go, his limits. He is going to be a tall boy - wow - those growth spurts.

Oh, Graham says 'book', too, only he says it "Buh"... maybe that's where Guillermo's B went.

Remember pudding finger painting is a blast.

That's a great idea...I've been thinking about doing that!

He looks so great. He must tire you out. Teach him how to make forts with pillows and blankets. Great for long days inside and for napping in after building. If he likes to scribble, get the bigger crayons and butcher paper and make murals or decorate a box for the fort. Doug and Rachel loved to do these when it was too hot to go outside.

All about Guillermo and Alma. Our little people.
