Christmas "chant"

This video was taken by my dad at Christmas dinner. Guillermo likes to play follow the leader (or should I say "lead the followers") but he doesn't share the role.

First haircut

The video is a little weird, but you get the gist (I had to speed it way up to make a 10 minute ordeal about a minute). G is starting out the new year with a new hair style. He got to go to his dad's ultra hip dude salon, Porter's (he was the only one there without tattoos!). A good time was had by all and mom didn't have to say goodbye to the long curls in back...thus, not one of us shed a tear!

Walking in a winter wonderland

La Conner is covered in snow, snow, snow! We went sledding today with Grammy and Grandpa Yellow.

Snow fun

Wearing new snow pants from Grandma Norma, Guillermo decides to taste his first snow before January. He liked it!

More school fun

Ah, snack time...the school favorite for Guillermo and his friend Benjamin...today they got chocolate chips as a special treat...it was cute to see them tossing them around! The clean-up after this part of class is especially gratifying ;)

1 year Well Child Exam

Guillermo had his 1 year exam a month late.

Stats are:

Weight: 26 lbs, 14 oz (93%)
Height: 32.5 in (99%)

There are some new words now too (yeah!). He is saying "cup" and "book" (well, he says "ook" but you get the drift). His new favorite activities include 'driving' his little truck around, dancing, being read to and giving 'gentle' pets to the cats.

We are hunkering down for winter, and I'm trying to think of some fun indoor activities since it's 20 degrees outside and the highs right now are only 39 or so.

Looking forward to another joy with the little guy.
